THE QUICK READ
Tyson's Chick-N-Quick plant in Rogers, Arkansas is a further-processing facility that cooks already-slaughtered raw chicken into frozen, ready-to-eat products — it does not handle live birds. The Chick'n Quick product line dates back to 1980 when Tyson first launched cooked, easy-to-prepare chicken portions for retail customers. The plant on West Olrich Street has added oven capacity over the years to keep up with demand for fully cooked chicken. Rogers is the most populous city in Benton County with about 70,000 residents, part of the fast-growing Northwest Arkansas metro area that includes Bentonville, Springdale, and Fayetteville.
