Mountaire Farms is a family-owned poultry company founded in 1914 in Arkansas by Guy Cameron as a commercial feed business. The company began chicken processing in 1959 and grew through acquisitions across the eastern United States. Headquartered in Millsboro, Delaware, Mountaire operates processing plants, hatcheries, and feed mills in Arkansas, Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia. It is the fourth-largest chicken producer in the United States, with over 10,000 employees.
