ABOUT THE HILLSHIRE BRANDS COMPANY

The Hillshire Brands Company was created in 2012 when Sara Lee Corporation completed the spin-off of its international coffee and tea business and renamed its remaining operations. The company built a portfolio of meat and food brands, including Jimmy Dean, Ball Park, Hillshire Farm, State Fair, Aidells, and Gallo Salame. By fiscal year 2013, it employed more than 9,000 people and generated close to $4 billion in annual sales.
