THE QUICK READ
R & R Provision Company has been in the meat business in Easton, Pennsylvania since 1934, when founders Ralph and Russ started with a single truck and one hundred dollars. The USDA-inspected plant covers around 40,000 square feet of operational space, including a 20,000-square-foot manufacturing facility added in 2009, where about 100 workers hand-cut steaks, make scrapple, and process beef and pork into both ready-to-eat and raw products. Schiff's Food Service acquired R & R in 2025, keeping the Easton operation running under its own name with more than 1,300 items for wholesale, retail, and online customers.
