THE QUICK READ
The Norman W. Fries facility in Claxton, GA — operating as Claxton Poultry Farms — is a large broiler chicken plant where crews slaughter and process birds into whole chickens, cut parts, and deboned products like breast fillets, nuggets, strips, and tenders. It runs as an egg-to-market operation, with birds arriving from contracted grower farms for slaughter, then moving through fabrication — the deboning and portioning lines that produce retail-ready cuts. All chicken processed here is raised under a No Antibiotics Ever program with USDA Process Verified certification.
