DFA Dairy Brands Fluid, LLC is the fluid milk processing arm of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy cooperative formed in 1998 through the merger of four regional dairy cooperatives and owned by its farmer members. In 2020, DFA acquired 44 processing facilities from Dean Foods for $433 million, becoming the largest fluid milk producer in the United States. The business processes and distributes milk under brands including Dean's, Meadow Gold, Garelick Farms, DairyPure, Breakstone's, and Kemps. DFA is privately held rather than publicly traded, with headquarters in Kansas City, Kansas.
