The Cohen family has run the company since, now based in Keene, New Hampshire, growing it through acquisitions including Grand Union in 2001, Piggly Wiggly Carolina in 2014, Piggly Wiggly Midwest in 2018, and SpartanNash in 2025. C&S distributes to over 7,500 independent supermarkets and institutions through more than 50 distribution centers.
