Top 5 Must‑Haves

• 1–3+ years industrial maintenance experience in a plant setting.

• Confident with 480V 3‑phase, motor controls, and basic AC/DC troubleshooting.

• Read mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and basic electrical schematics.

• Safe habits with LOTO, hot work, confined space, and NFPA 70E awareness.

• Use CMMS daily for work orders, PMs, parts, and close‑out notes.

What You’ll Do

• Execute PMs and precision tasks to increase uptime and extend asset life.

• Diagnose/repair mechanical power transmission: bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes.

• Service refrigeration, steam, and pneumatics: valves, cylinders, manifolds, filtration.

• Troubleshoot sensors, actuators, control valves, and positioners; replace as needed.

• Perform basic electrical work: contactors, overloads, VFDs, motors, and wiring.

• Support installs/startups; align shafts, set tolerances, verify rotation.

• Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) to spec.

• Keep documentation tight: PM compliance, parts usage, shift hand‑off, and GMP notes.

Skills & Experience

• Comfortable with PLC/HMI basics; Allen‑Bradley experience is a plus (I/O checks, alarms).

• Strong piping/rigging fundamentals; safe use of shop and power tools.

• Knowledge of pumps: teardown, seal/gasket replacement, and alignment.

• Familiar with vacuum systems, lubrication standards, and vibration basics.

• Able to fabricate light brackets/guards; machine shop exposure is a plus.

• Clear communicator who can work independently and in small teams.
