What You’ll Do
• Plan and direct sanitation for equipment, rooms, and grounds; uphold MSS.
• Approve SSOPs/SOPs; validate CIP/COP methods and verify chemical concentrations.
• Lead pre‑op inspections; review ATP/micro/allergen swabs and release lines.
• Own changeovers: allergen removal, line clearances, and rapid, safe hand‑backs.
• Partner with QA on EMP (Listeria/Salmonella) and corrective actions.
• Oversee pest control program; review trend maps and service reports.
• Train and develop associates; certify leads on LOTO, confined space, and PPE.
• Drive continuous improvement projects that cut downtime and improve first‑pass yields.
Skills & Experience
• Working knowledge of FDA/USDA, 21 CFR, BRCGS/SQF, and third‑party audits.
• Mechanical aptitude—can disassemble/assemble equipment to hygienic design.
• Strong scheduling—aligns sanitation windows with production plans.
• Comfortable with CMMS and documentation to audit standards.
• Excel or similar for tracking trends, costs, and labor.
• Clear communicator across shifts; steady under pressure.
Pay & Schedule
• $92,780–$139,170 annual base, depending on experience.
• Full‑time, on‑site role in Crest Hill, IL.
