Shift/Schedule: The KDP 2027 Winter Co-op Program will run from January 4 – May 21, 2027 Full-time; 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00am until 5:00pm In-person in the Columbus, OH plant As an EHS Co-op you will: Demonstrate critical thinking and provide leadership during EHS-related incidents and crisis situations by assessing risks, driving timely decision-making, and implementing effective corrective actions. Support regulatory affairs activities by monitoring compliance requirements, tracking regulatory changes, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure adherence to applicable laws and standards. Lead and facilitate cross-functional team meetings to drive project execution, track progress, resolve challenges, and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders. Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems, while coaching teams on best practices and compliance expectations. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and assessments to verify compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and established safety procedures. Analyze audit findings and operational data to identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and promote a proactive safety culture. Collaborate with site leadership and employees to strengthen EHS awareness, engagement, and accountability across the organization. Elements of the KDP 2027 Co-op Program include: Engaging and partnering on innovative projects to gain experience in a fast paced, cross functional team environment Receive mentor support for your professional development Participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders Receive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting Complete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department, and senior leaders to highlight your project work and impact on the business Total Rewards: $31.00/ hour Paid bi-weekly $5,000 Sign-on Bonus, paid within first 30 days of employment Requirements: Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or another related field Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and adapt to changes Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Please note: You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
