****Maintenance workers work 6 days a week.**** Position summary Performs routine preventative maintenance and make minor repairs as needed to plant equipment. Essential Functions Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Standing/Walking 100% of the workday. Lifting and pulling various weights based upon machine and task at hand; no greater than 75lbs without assistance. Carry a waist tool belt (approximately 15-45 lbs.) with all tools/supplies needed for daily work Physically inspect products for both naturally occurring and processing defects. Be able to set up, operate, adjust, and maintain production equipment. Minimum Qualifications Must have basic knowledge of industrial and electrical circuits. Follow the written specifications for packaging and labeling of products Be familiar WITH AND practice Lock out tag out safety procedures on a daily basis Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant gmp policies
