High School Diploma or GED required 3 years industrial electrical/programming experience or two-year technical degree preferred Multiple platforms such as Allen Bradley PLC5, Control Logix, and Siemens programming and troubleshooting experience preferred Knowledge of variable frequency drives, servo motors, and motor control systems up to 480 volts required Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes (e.g. six sigma analysis) and propose and implement remedies Strong computer skills required; Microsoft Office Excel proficiency and Computer Maintenance Management Systems experience preferred Knowledge/experience with process controls, instrumentation, and calibration Knowledge of controllers including hydraulics and pneumatics PLC programming and troubleshooting experience required Ability to work off shifts (afternoons and midnights) and overtime as necessary. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates
