Direct Hire opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor for a well-established, large-scale food manufacturer in Tucker, GA. This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive salary of $75,000-$100,000 (based on experience),excellent benefits and the chance to lead and coordinate a skilled maintenance team in a high-volume manufacturing facility. You'll supervise all maintenance activities including repair, installation, and preventive maintenance while directly supervising the team on staffing, training, and performance standards. Job Duties: Directly oversee Maintenance team including staffing, training, performance standards, and performance managementOversee day-to-day assignments and partner with Maintenance Planner to develop scope and assign technicians to work orders and projectsEnsure weekly preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and work orders are completed satisfactorilyMonitor scheduled work and adjust as required to meet production schedulesInspect completed work for conformance to standards, specifications, and blueprintsContinually monitor working conditions and equipment use; suggest changes to increase efficiency and qualityEnsure all plant maintenance operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment in compliance with OSHA rulesManage department to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMPs) are adhered to and professional appearance is maintainedConduct regular maintenance inspections and ensure maintenance shop equipment and tools meet operational requirementsOperate within Maintenance budget and initiate cost saving measuresProvide leadership in implementing/maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance programsWork with Human Resources regarding personnel and performance issuesFoster team responsibility for achieving goals and support employee growth through individual development planningSupport food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured productsRequirements: Associate's/Bachelor's degree, program certificate, or equivalent work experienceMinimum 7+ years of maintenance experience. Food manufacturing highly preferredMinimum 7+ years of supervisory experience in maintenanceDemonstrated ability to organize, lead, coach, and train a diverse maintenance workforceExperience overseeing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programsAbility to conduct PM audits and inspect completed work for quality, safety, and complianceStrong mechanical and planning aptitude with working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to read diagrams, layouts, blueprints, and related documentationKnowledge of food manufacturing, FDA/USDA, OSHA, and EPA regulationsProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and experience with CMMSContinuous improvement mindset with ability to support multiple projectsStrong decision-making skills with ability to think critically and solve complex problemsAbility to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment with occasional overtime and weekend supportTo apply for the Maintenance Supervisor position, please submit your resume in response to this ad or fill out an application on our website, impactstaffing.com.
