Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role We are looking for a hands-on Industrial Controls & Maintenance Technician to support and improve operations at our beef processing facility. This role combines PLC troubleshooting, electrical work, and mechanical support on production and environmental equipment including grinders, vacuum packagers, and complex conveying systems as well as air units, and other plant automated systems. This is not a desk job - you will be actively working on the plant floor solving real-time issues and improving uptime. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Simatic, others)Diagnose and repair electrical systems (motors, sensors, VFDs, HMIs)Perform maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and processing and packaging equipment:GrindersConveyorsPackaging machinesMake up air units and air handlersPerform maintenance and repairs on plant harvest processing line and carcass conveying system Respond to equipment downtime and emergenciesAssist with equipment upgrades, installs, and improvementsWork with production team to improve efficiency and reliabilityMaintain compliance with food safety and plant standardsRequired Experience 3+ years in industrial maintenance, controls, or automationExperience with PLCs (troubleshooting required, programming is a plus)Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (480V, motor controls, etc.)Experience in manufacturing or processing environmentPreferred (Big Plus) Experience in food or meat processing plantsFamiliarity with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell / Semiens(Simatic) systemsExperience with VFDs, HMIs, and instrumentationMechanical experience with production equipment (grinders, conveyors, packaging)What We're Looking For Someone who can figure things out and fix problems fastComfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environmentReliable, hands-on, and not afraid to get dirtyAble to work independently and take ownership of issuesCompensation Competitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesBenefits:Generous Employer contribution towards Health, Dental, VisionEmployer paid Life and Short Term DisabilitySchedule Full-timeDay Shift and other project times as required Salary: USD 60000 - 80000 per year Experience: 3 years required
