Pay & Schedule Pay: $34 / hour Job Type: Travel / Contract Facility Type: Manufacturing / Industrial Location: United States Schedule 10-12 hour shifts Day, night, weekend, and holiday availability Overtime opportunities Job Summary As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you're the one who keeps the plant moving. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, complete preventive maintenance, and tackle the breakdowns that stop production cold, all while keeping safety first. What You’ll Be Doing Maintain and troubleshoot equipment within food and dairy manufacturing environments Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical repairs to support production and safety goals Troubleshoot and repair vacuum pumps, high‑pressure boilers, and glycol‑based refrigeration systems Read and interpret P&ID drawings and electrical schematics Diagnose and resolve issues with digital/analog instrumentation and 24VDC control circuits Apply PLC knowledge to interpret control logic for troubleshooting What We’re Looking For Required: 2+ years of food manufacturing experience (applications without this will not be considered) Dairy background preferred Multi‑skilled maintenance technician with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude Proficient in troubleshooting up to 480V motors and pumps Experience with vacuum pump maintenance and troubleshooting Boiler and refrigeration background (high‑pressure boilers, glycol‑based systems) Ability to read P&ID drawings Skilled with 24VDC control circuits, electrical drawings, and test equipment PLC knowledge, including interpreting control logic for troubleshooting Valid driver’s license Willingness to travel 100% Nice to Have: Experience with wastewater treatment systems maintenance Basic knowledge of PC‑based equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong verbal, written, and radio communication skills Detail‑oriented with ability to multitask in fast‑paced environments Benefits & Perks Competitive pay: $28–$38/hour Per diem, housing, and travel compensation Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, company‑paid life insurance, PTO, 401(k) with match Flexible schedules with opportunities for overtime Referral program and relocation assistance Why This Role Is Different You’ll get clear direction, steady support, and work that respects your time and skill.
