and gain skills to take with you to your next opportunity Equipment Ownership including installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipment Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and/or electronic issues Providing technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modification Own and manage DMS (Daily Management System) activities inside and outside of shift DDS (Daily Direction Setting) Management of work order, parts requisition, and data entry through understanding and use of Maximo Maintenance Management System Understanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why) Performing both uptime and down time preventative maintenance Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance Skillset and leadership development opportunities with a pay for skills program to achieve higher pay levels by developing and acquiring new skills from an "Equipment Ownership", "Process Ownership" and "Leadership" standpoint Assist in training new employees What you have to offer: Minimum of a high school education or GED Proficient in English 2+ years (minimum) in industrial maintenance or related industry experience and/or equivalent education in a related field/industry Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of PLC operation, electrical components and systems troubleshooting, including use of a multimeter Basic shop equipment (mill, lathe, grinder, presses, etc) preferred Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walki
