Assume supervisory responsibility for maintenance crew. This position will be responsible for the supervision, development, and on-going coaching of all direct reports. This includes training, daily work direction and managing overall objectives. In addition, this position will be responsible for the scheduling, hiring, on-boarding, performance management, corrective action and conflict resolution of all direct reports.
High school diploma with experience in processing type environment with the ability to do basic math and complete required paperwork. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Must have experience in supervising employees, safety training, mechanical aptitude and conducting preventive maintenance on equipment.
Job requires working in area with fluctuating temperatures; 10° rake bin, 20 - 25° vault and 40 - 50° processing area. Standing on feet all day with labor intensive work. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Requires good manual dexterity. Must work in areas with forklifts in operation and around machinery with moving parts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
