This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems while ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards. Job Duties: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial processing and packaging equipment Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and read electrical schematics Assist with installation of production and packaging equipment Perform welding and fabrication on stainless and carbon steel components Maintain facility equipment, buildings, and grounds as needed Utilize hand tools and machine shop equipment for repairs and modifications Follow GMP, OSHA, EPA, and food safety regulations at all times Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement efforts Qualifications: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred Food or meat manufacturing experience is a plus Familiarity with FSIS/USDA regulations preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read written instructions, diagrams, and maintenance schedules Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Comfortable working in cold, loud manufacturing environments Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
