Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Work closely with production teams to understand their needs and provide timely support for equipment repairs and maintenance. Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all equipment is operating at optimal levels. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and replacements. Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes and procedures to enhance equipment reliability. Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements to continuously improve maintenance practices. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department. Train and mentor junior maintenance engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
