Job Title: Refrigeration Technician Job Purpose: As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems and equipment, as well as food service equipment. Your duties will involve troubleshooting malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring that refrigeration systems and food service equipment operate efficiently and safely. You will work with a variety of equipment, including walk-in freezers, refrigerated display cases, ice machines, food service equipment, and HVAC systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, food service equipment, and related components according to specifications and codes. Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning refrigeration and food service equipment to identify the root cause of the issue. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating moving parts, and maintaining food service equipment to ensure optimal performance. Repair or replace defective components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, electrical controls, and parts of food service equipment.
