[Source: Workday] Position Summary... What you'll do... Assist other maintenance technicians with equipment repair and maintenance. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on equipment, including: Lift trucks Pneumatic systems Material handling equipment Hydraulic equipment Dock equipment Electronic and electrical equipment Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment. Diagnose refrigeration and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electro-mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, laptops). Troubleshoot and repair complex ammonia refrigeration system issues involving logic controls and external input/output (I/O) devices when the issue is not immediately visible. Operate refrigeration system equipment (e.g., compressors, fan units). Perform PM and repairs on refrigeration system equipment by following OEM instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Clean up or prevent hazardous-material issues as a member of the HazMat team. Monitor work areas for safety concerns per written procedures and take appropriate action as needed. Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documentation using established procedures.
