The GET (Global Engineering Team) organization operates as one integrated team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance and Execution Systems solutions. We operate in a standard, coordinated and consistent manner in support of the current and future requirements of our Manufacturing and Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) and in partnership with key internal/external network. The Senior Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for managing a multi craft (mechanical, electrical and instrumentation) group of maintenance technicians, in the execution of manufacturing equipment maintenance. Working closely with manufacturing, the maintenance team lead will form part of the overall site goal of maximizing asset performance. Key Responsibilities: Supervises a team of multi-craft maintenance technicians and is accountable for conducting effective performance management Responsible for planning, designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment Analyze, develop, and implement effective and operationally-sound functional strategies and initiatives Assists with the coordination and execution of processes and assignments for the Maintenance area Reports to managers on project activities and progress against key deliverables, ensuring projects are on schedule to meet agreed timelines Supports and/or leads root cause analysis and implementation of robust solutions to downtime issues Maintains consistent workflow and productivity of the team, and proactively identifies and resolves operational issues and concerns Coaches less experienced staff, recommending plans for continual improvement, and consistently evaluates individual and team performance against operational goals Creates and maintains a training program to ensure the team is up to date with the manufacturing maintenance technology and industry trends Monitors equipment operations to ensure cGMP compliance Develops and executes maintenance procedures, preventive and corrective maintenance, and equipment files for the manufacturing equipment Identifies appropriate spare parts to ensure maximum availability of equipment. Evaluates equipment reliability to identify trends and maximize equipment uptime Creation and management of appropriate maintenance contracts Liaises with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline required; equivalent combination Associate Degree with electrical licensure/certification and significant maintenance experience will be considered. Experience and Skills: Required: Minimum of 5 years of production maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
