Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician – CDL Preferred

Eagle Equipment USA is looking for a skilled, dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at our Charleston, WV location.

We sell and service mini excavators, skid steers, compact tractors, and other equipment. We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can troubleshoot mechanical problems, and takes pride in getting equipment running properly.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair construction equipment.
• Work on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and other mechanical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and equipment preparation.
• Complete repairs and service work in the shop and occasionally in the field.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and preparing equipment for customer deliveries.
• Occasionally deliver equipment to customers when needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in heavy equipment, diesel, agricultural, or similar mechanical repair preferred.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage repair tasks efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Class A CDL strongly preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating and transporting construction equipment is a plus.
