**Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of heavy equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

**Duties**

• Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines and heavy equipment to identify mechanical issues.
• Perform automotive diagnostics to troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Repair and maintain diesel engines, including but not limited to Caterpillar engines.
• Work with shocks, struts, and other suspension components to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand complex systems and components.
• Perform electrical repairs on industrial equipment as required.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.

**Requirements**

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role in the automotive or heavy equipment industry.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various types of industrial equipment safely.
• Familiarity with electrical systems related to diesel engines and heavy machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
