Heavy Equipment & Fleet Mechanic with welding experience and knowledge of CAT equipment

Shift: Full time

We are seeking a **skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment & Fleet Mechanic** to join our team. This position offers steady, year-round work maintaining heavy equipment, tri-axle trucks, and plant machinery. Local work only — home every night. **2 weeks vacation then 3 weeks after 5 years of employment.** **Overtime and bonus in addition to the hourly wage. Company paid health insurance.**

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Perform **routine maintenance and repairs** on **Caterpillar equipment**, including:
• Wheel Loaders
• Dozers
• Off-Highway Trucks
• Excavators
• Perform maintenance on **tri-axle trucks**, including:
• Oil changes
• Tire changes
• Minor mechanical repairs
• Assist with **maintenance and repairs on a crushing plant**
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

**Requirements:**

• Valid CDL license (Preferred)
• Experience with heavy equipment and diesel mechanics
• Must have welding experience
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
