GX3 Trucking company is seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Diesel Mechanic to join our shop team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the fleet of trucks and vehicles in our yard. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in diesel engine repair, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, and electrical issues in diesel engines and related systems
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and repair faulty components or systems
• Repair or replace defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and exhaust systems
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, computer software, and manuals to assist with troubleshooting and repairs
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment
• Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and parts used
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate repairs and ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in diesel engine repair
• Perform Engine overhauls on Cummins X15, Paccar MX, and D13 Volvo.
• Valve adjustments on all engine platforms.
• Clutch replacement
• Transmission Diagnosis and repair
• Differential diagnosis and repair

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 5 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 5 year (Preferred)

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
