**Overview**

Join our team as experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanics and keep essential vehicles and equipment ready for the road and the job site. You’ll diagnose issues, complete repairs, and perform preventive vehicle maintenance on tractor-trailers, diesel engines, and heavy equipment. This hands-on role calls for strong mechanical knowledge, safe work habits, and a focus on dependable service.

**Responsibilities**

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy trucks, trailers, diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, suspension, shocks and struts, and vehicle electrical systems.
• Perform alignment, tire service, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) work, hydraulic repairs, and other mechanical systems repair.
• Maintain and repair farm machinery, industrial equipment, and heavy equipment, including Caterpillar equipment, excavators, cranes, and forklifts.
• Use schematics, hand and power tools, and welding, fabrication, assembly, and soldering techniques to complete equipment repairs.
• Your impact: Accurate diagnostics and timely maintenance help drivers and equipment operators work safely and keep vehicles and machinery dependable.

**Skills**

• Required: Mechanic experience, diesel mechanics, heavy truck repair, heavy equipment mechanics, automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, brake repair, and equipment maintenance.
• Required: Practical experience with hand tools, power tools, vehicle maintenance, and safe heavy lifting; electrical experience is valuable for automotive electrical system repair.
• Preferred: Dealership experience, heavy equipment operation, and experience with farm machinery, industrial equipment, or Caterpillar equipment.
• Bring a customer-service mindset and the ability to support vehicle mechanics for truck drivers with clear, professional communication.

Pay: $22.00 - $50.00 per hour
