Electrical Technician

Shift: Full time

Pro Tech Electric is looking for a dependable, motivated Electrical Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial and/or residential electrical work, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The Electrical Technician will assist with electrical installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of projects while following applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduit, devices, lighting, and electrical equipment.
• Bend and install EMT and other electrical conduit.
• Install receptacles, switches, light fixtures, panels, breakers, and disconnects.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform commercial and residential electrical installations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Follow NEC requirements, local codes, and company safety procedures.
• Work alongside electricians, project managers, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
• Load, unload, and organize tools and materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical experience preferred; willing to consider motivated entry-level candidates.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and materials.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Ability to read electrical plans is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and jobsite equipment.
• Strong attendance, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift materials and perform physical job duties.
