**Overview**

As a Lead Mechanic, you’ll keep vehicles and equipment safe, reliable, and ready for work while guiding hands-on repair and maintenance. You’ll diagnose issues, coordinate repairs, and support a team working across heavy trucks, machinery, and automotive systems. Your impact: Accurate diagnostics and timely repairs help operators and drivers return to work with dependable equipment.

**Duties**

• Lead equipment repair, vehicle maintenance, and preventive maintenance for heavy trucks, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and other vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, air brakes, suspension, shocks and struts, alignment, hydraulics, heating and air conditioning (HVAC), and automotive electrical systems.
• Use schematics, hand tools, and power tools to inspect and repair mechanical systems; perform assembly, fabrication, welding, and soldering as needed.
• Support heavy equipment mechanics and heavy equipment operation involving excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and Caterpillar equipment.
• Complete tire service, perform heavy lifting when required, and provide clear, helpful customer service.

**Requirements**

• Mechanic experience and strong mechanical knowledge, including vehicle systems, automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, diesel mechanics, diesel engine repair, heavy truck repair, and mechanical systems repair.
• Experience with equipment maintenance, vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, electrical work, and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers.
• Familiarity with dealership experience, farm machinery, industrial equipment, tractor-trailers, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and Caterpillar equipment is valued.
• Ability to read schematics and safely use hand tools and power tools; fabrication, welding, soldering, and heavy lifting experience are useful.

Pay: $1,500.00 per week
