**Quality & Testing Lab Technician**

The Quality & Testing Lab Technician will assist in various stages of appliance and component testing to ensure our products meet safety, consistency and regulatory standards.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

• Set up and test refrigerators and freezers and other appliances as needed in the environmental chamber
• Acquire and interpret data and documents results; provide results in technical report format
• Maintain a database for evaluated vaccine/medical refrigerators and freezers
• Adhere to established Quality Systems
• Prepare compliance labels for production as needed
• Data retention by backing up MS Access UL database
• Routine monitoring at all stages in the work process to identify any non-conformance. Reports all nonconformance to the QC/Lab Manager Keep workplace neat and organized
• Program digital controllers
• Receive orders and update receipts and inventory logs
• Organize storage area
• ISO 9001 related duties ? internal auditor, assist with internal & external audits, collect product reviews from various portal for analysis, compute shipping delays, inventory levels\*
• Assist the QC department in forming new, and revising work orders/procedures
• + Other responsibilities as assigned

**Skills & Qualifications**

• **Minimum** **Qualifications**: An associate college degree in any science, math, engineering or related field, and/or experience in a technical position

• Excellent computer skills- MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word
• Strong math skills
• Works well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion
• A critical thinker with strong attention to detail
• Able to take initiative and work interdependently, adjust to shifting priorities, communicate effectively, and work under defined rules and regulations

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

**Rate of pay**: $24-$25 hourly, commensurate with education and experience.

**Job Type:** Full-time Mon ? Fri, 7am-3:30pm
