Salary Production Assistant Plant Manager

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Ensure food safety, quality and legality.
• Supervises operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures
• Ensures goals/standards are met on a daily basis
• Ensures food safety standards are maintained
• Directs Sanitation team to complete all required tasks, including, but not limited to, completion of Master Cleaning Schedule, restorative sanitation (post-construction, etc), abatement of plant pathogen findings, etc.
• Promotes and assists in professional and personal growth of production and sanitation managers
• Ensures all applicable HACCP requirements are met
• Ensures all Safety standards are adhered to
• Provide leadership for process improvement
• Effectively manage/ direct team of Production and Sanitation Managers and their reports
• Provide oversight of standards and targeted goals as directed by the Plant Manager and Rockmart Management team, including, but not limited to, adherence to BRC standard 6.1 (Control of Operations).

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day; free use of hands and free range of arm movement; ability to bend repeatedly at the waist for 8-10 hours per day; ability to safely walk to and in the plant; ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, sanitary equipment, and any other equipment necessary for certain departments
