**Job Overview**

Keep packaging operations moving as a Packaging Equipment Technician. You’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, using mechanical and electrical skills to identify issues and restore reliable operation. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving in a manufacturing facility and communicates clearly with colleagues and customers.

**Responsibilities**

• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repair on packaging machinery and related industrial systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; use schematics and electrical blueprints to guide troubleshooting.
• Apply electrical diagnostics and engineering troubleshooting methods, using precision measuring instruments and meters such as a voltmeter, ammeter, and ohmmeter.
• Support equipment with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems.
• Document maintenance work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Your impact: timely, accurate repairs help production teams maintain dependable equipment and keep packaging work on track.

**Requirements**

• Experience in industrial maintenance, industrial mechanics, or a manufacturing facility; demonstrate mechanical knowledge, equipment troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics and electrical blueprints and work with electrical systems; welding or stick welding experience is useful.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatic systems, HVAC/R, PLCs, and precision measuring instruments is preferred.
• Scissor lift experience, technical sales experience, and customer service skills are helpful; strong analysis skills and English communication are required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
