Works as part of a team that focuses on improving asset and system reliability. Job Responsibilities Maintains a healthy working relationship with maintenance and operations. Monitors equipment performance and conducts corresponding failure analysis. Performs data analysis to identify opportunities to improve maintenance metrics or personnel knowledge and skill sets, ultimately increasing asset availability. Utilizes reliability tools and processes such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Baxterity. Develop and revise meaningful routine preventive and predictive maintenance procedures and frequencies based on manufacturer recommendations, FMEA, and RCA practices. Works to improve asset and system reliability with an emphasis on Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), and the resulting implementation of mitigation or elimination solutions. Evaluate new technologies, such as predictive tools, to be used by technicians and engineers. Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles. Learn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Schedules and plans necessary corrective actions in programmed and opportunistic shutdowns. Keeps up-to-date technical reports and manuals. Defines and monitors spare availability, ensuring min/max stock while ensuring that the right technical information is in the system. Knowledge, Skill and Abilities High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. RMIC (Reliability and Maintainability Implementation Certification) preferred. Minimum of three years experience as a maintenance technician. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and changing environment. Effectively use databases to analyze data. Effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups. Ability to work as a collaborative team member. Ability to solve equipment reliability problems with assistance. Owns individual career development and professional growth. Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings. Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members. Ability to read understand electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Develop strong troubleshooting skills. Must be able to work with limited supervision, have strong teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written, good documentation skills and practices, strong computer skills, be customer-oriented, and work safely and effectively under stressful conditions. Skilled in MS Word, MS Excel, and Maximo or similar CMMS. Desire to broaden knowledge and improve skill level is imperative. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
