Your Role at Baxter This is where my hands make life-sustaining products As an Operator III, you will play an essential role in ensuring efficient, high-quality production within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring multiple molding machines while maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Your Team Cleveland’s technology and automation is cutting edge. It is the U.S. sole source for plastic pour bottles, glass IV, and various reconstitution devices. This facility produces a number of major product lines with a diverse array of automated manufacturing technologies ranging from bottle solution filling, injection molding, tubing extrusion, and device assembly. Generate batch labels using the MMS system and initial all labels used to pack parts. Record hourly production. Input visual results for ISCAPS into the Infinity QS system. Load the conveyor with trays when operating the insert-molded machine. Sort trays for packing. Weigh count production, pack parts, and accurately label the production. Report and call out abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision. Responsible for accurate documentation per Good Manufacturing Practices on production and quality records, cleaning forms, batch folder, etc. Participate in and complete all required training. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises. Maintain good housekeeping and 6S responsibilities as assigned. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management. What You ll Bring High school diploma required Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations a plus. Mechanical aptitude required. Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures. Able to complete documentation legibly. Trained as forklift driver preferred. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. Must be able to work overtime as required. Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL-01-01-037. Ability to bend, stoop and climb ladders. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to push and/or pull up to 75 pounds. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds.
