Shop Associate-Assemble/Disassemble Mechanic **TOOLS REQUIRED**

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Associate to join our team. This role is mainly focused on our assemble/disassemble of large trucks (mixers, trash, refuse, etc.) in preparation for painting. It is essential in maintaining paint timelines and preparing trucks for a quality paint job. This role may also include helping in other various paint preparation areas around the shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering quality workmanship.

CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE TOOLS

**Responsibilities:**

• Assemble and disassemble parts and equipment as required
• Safely operate hand tools and battery-operated power tools
• Operate an oxy-acetylene torch and plasma cutter
• Perform basic to mid-level welding tasks
• Work efficiently to meet production timelines
• Follow all safety procedures and shop guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Qualifications:**

• Experience using hand tools and battery-operated power tools
• Ability to operate an oxy-acetylene torch and plasma cutter
• Ability to perform mig welding
• Comfortable working at a fast pace in a production environment
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Comfortable working in a shop environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
