Diesel / Fleet Mechanic

NRDB Utilities LLC

NRDB Utilities is hiring a mechanic to help maintain and repair our fleet of work trucks, trailers, and construction equipment. We’re looking for someone dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working on a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on trucks, trailers, and equipment

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, tires, and inspections

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and engine problems

• Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized

• Maintain accurate service and repair records

• Communicate repair needs and safety concerns to management

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanic working on diesel trucks, commercial vehicles, or construction equipment preferred

• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs safely

• Familiarity with tools, diagnostic equipment, and preventive maintenance

• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

• Valid driver’s license required

• CDL, DOT inspection experience, or welding experience is a plus
