Overview
Diesel Mechanic: Fleet Repair, $28–$35/hr OTT Transport is a Knoxville trucking company looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to keep our fleet on the road.
This is a hands-on repair role.
Our team identifies the problem and you complete the repair, safely and correctly the first time.
What you'll do...
-Complete assigned repairs on medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks.
- Perform preventive maintenance and component replacements while following safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area.
-Document completed work accurately
What we require...
-At least 3 years of hands-on, in-shop experience on medium to large diesel engines (school or training hours don't count toward the 3 years). Experience with Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, Duramax, and Powerstroke engines.
-A strong safety mindset and pride in your work
-Must pass a pre-hire drug screen, have Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
What we offer...
$28–$35/hour to start, based on experience
Flexible schedule - Weekly pay - Steady year-round work.
