**Overview**

As an Instrumentation Technician IV, you’ll keep industrial equipment and control systems operating safely and reliably. You’ll apply electrical and mechanical expertise to diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and support instrumentation across industrial environments. Your impact: Accurate troubleshooting and calibration help operations teams maintain dependable equipment and consistent processes.

**Duties**

• Diagnose and repair electrical, instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; use precision measuring instruments, a voltmeter, and an ohmmeter.
• Calibrate sensors and instruments, maintain equipment, and support industrial automation and low-voltage systems.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to identify faults and guide repairs.
• Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), industrial controls, and vision inspection systems.
• Provide field service and customer support; follow electrical safety procedures and document maintenance work.

**Experience**

• Industrial maintenance experience, including industrial electrician work, electrical instrumentation, electrical systems, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of E & I (electrical and instrumentation), mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and industrial controls.
• Ability to perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting, engineering troubleshooting, calibration, and equipment maintenance.
• Experience with programming in engineering, Calypso, or vision inspection systems is useful; familiarity with PLCs and DCS is preferred.
• Strong schematic and electrical blueprint reading skills, customer service, and safe work practices.
