**MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN-ASSEMBLY**

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment throughout the sportfishing boat construction and production process.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous marine mechanical experience is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in automotive, diesel mechanics, industrial maintenance, mechanical assembly, or other related skilled trades are encouraged to apply.
• Reading and interpreting work orders, technical drawings, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to ensure proper installation, testing, and operation of mechanical systems in accordance with company quality standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and knowledge of marine mechanical systems and installation practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installing engines, propulsion systems, steering systems, fuel systems, plumbing, pumps, and other mechanical components.
• Using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance.
• Maintain high standards of quality workmanship.
• Work cooperatively with other assembly personnel to meet production schedules.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
