The Role
We are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and debug custom electrical control strategies for our family of high-quality glass processing equipment, including PLC, CNC, and PC systems. Position will emphasize programming and commissioning of the control systems, both here and in the field. May require some travel.
Candidates should have a four-year Elecrical Engineering degree and at least 5 years of experience designing and programming industrial control systems.
Will be working with a variety of control platforms, such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Bosch, Beckhoff, and GE Fanuc. Should have knowledge of one or more of these platforms and be capable of learning new ones quickly.
Candidates should also have:
- strong troubleshooting skills,
- experience with CAD and standard drawing procedures, and
- familiarity with prevalent electrical codes.
