Oilfield Equipment Sales specializes in building, fabricating, and refurbishing heavy oilfield equipment, including cementing units, bulk trailers, pump skids, and related equipment. We take pride in producing quality equipment built to withstand the demands of the oilfield industry.

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking **Welder / Fabricator** to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a solid understanding of mechanical systems, follows instructions carefully, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform stick and MIG welding on a variety of materials and components.
• Fabricate and repair components for heavy oilfield equipment.
• Safely and efficiently operate cutting torches and other fabrication equipment.
• Read, understand, and follow work orders, drawings, and build instructions.
• Assist with equipment assembly, mechanical installation, and general shop fabrication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work alongside shop leadership and fellow team members to complete projects accurately and meet production deadlines.
• Follow all applicable shop safety procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Required Qualifications & Expectations

• **Safety First:** Must be safety-conscious and consistently follow safe work practices.
• **Welding Experience:** Experience welding pipe, plate, tubing, and I-beam.
• **Cutting Torch Experience:** Ability to safely and effectively operate a cutting torch.
• **Basic Mechanical Knowledge:** Familiarity with mechanical systems, equipment assembly, or installation.
• **Forklift Operation:** Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficently.
• **Attention to Detail:** Ability to listen carefully, follow directions, and complete tasks correctly.
• **Self-Motivation:** Takes initiative and stays productive without constant supervision.
• **Reliability:** Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work at the scheduled start time every day.
• **Teamwork:** Maintains a positive attitude and works well with others.
• **Quality Workmanship:** Takes pride in producing quality work and completing tasks correctly the first time.
• **Transportation:** Must have reliable transportation and the ability to consistently arrive at work on time.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are a plus but are not required:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ownership of personal welding tools and general mechanic's tools.
