Shift: Full time

**Job Description:**

As a diesel mechanic for Kimrad Transport, LP, you will be responsible for, diagnosing, troubleshooting, performing routine maintenance, completing mechanical & body repairs, and preventative maintenance on Peterbilt, Kenworth, and Freightliner vehicles.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating Saturday. 07:00 - 18:00

Responsibilities:

• Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, & transmissions.

**Job Requirements:**

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-Year experience working on heavy trucks, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree
• Valid driver's license
• Pass pre-employment drug screen & physical

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-Years experience working on heavy trucks and diesel engines
• PACCAR Certification
• Class 7 / 8 Certification
• Class A CDL w/Tanker & Hazmat Endorsements
• Experience with CUMMINS & PACCAR software
• Confined Space Certification

Wage Range: 19 - 30 per hour
