**Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in both light and heavy-duty vehicles. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. Most have a current PA inspection license.

**Duties**

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical problems and execute repairs.
• Conduct brake repairs, including air brake systems, ensuring all components meet safety standards.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed for repair or replacement.
• Operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts, while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring compliance with dealership standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction.

**Skills**

• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment for automotive repair.
• Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, particularly Caterpillar machinery, is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of brake repair systems, including air brakes.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
