Fleet Mechanic – Concrete Trucks & Equipment

Shift: Full time

Job Duties:

• Inspect vehicle, engine, and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Inspect vehicle, computer, and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.
• Inspect, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment, which includes climbing silos up to but not over 100 ft.
• Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions.
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues.
• Provide accurate estimates (time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
• Keep logs on work and issues.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

Requirements:

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Prior experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or similar role preferred
• Ability to work on hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy-duty components
• Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently
