**GA Technical Services, Inc.** is currently hiring experienced **Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians** for an active California Department of Corrections (CDCR) project involving **EV charging infrastructure, underground electrical, conduit installation, switchgear, panel work, and site electrical construction**. We have numerous projects throughout California and you must be willing to travel.

This is a **prevailing wage public works project** with immediate work available.

Job Duties

• Install EMT, rigid conduit, underground raceways, and pull boxes
• Pull and terminate low-voltage and power conductors
• Install EV charging equipment and associated electrical infrastructure
• Assist with trenching, saw cutting, backfilling, and site restoration
• Install panelboards, switchboards, transformers, and electrical equipment
• Read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
• Follow all OSHA and prison facility safety/security procedures
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Requirements

• Electrical construction experience required
• Experience on commercial, industrial, or public works projects preferred
• Must be able to pass CDCR prison clearance/background screening
• Clean background strongly preferred (no recent felony convictions or issues that may prevent prison access)
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Ability to work outdoors and in active construction environments
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional

Preferred Qualifications

• State Certified Electrician Card
• Experience with EV infrastructure projects
• Experience with medium voltage, switchgear, or site electrical work
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Prevailing wage/public works experience

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
