Electrician I [YR] - Dollywood Theme Park - Full Time Year Round

The Electrician I exists to assist experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, repair or preventive maintenance to a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment to support all Dollywood Company properties in accordance with regulatory codes at the country, state and federal levels. All of this will be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values and operating philosophies and standards of the Dollywood Company.

**Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities**

• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
• Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order
• Prepare materials, clean work areas, and track supplies and inventory
• Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work site
• Assist with conducting scheduled maintenance and regulatory inspections
• Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting materials
• Maintain records of work completed and parts used
• Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, company policies & procedures, applicable regulations, and industry standards
• Assist others as requested

**Education and Experience Required**

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• 1-2 years of experience working with hand tools, power tool and electronic test equipment
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance for use of Company vehicles
• Basic computer skills
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check; if already employed by Dollywood must also be in good standing with current team

**Physical Requirements | Environmental Conditions**

• **Lifting and Carrying**: Position may require occasional to frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs utilizing company’s safety guidelines for safe lifting
