Every hour, thousands of fresh products leave Hudson Bread Company for the Tri-State area. When a drive belt slips or a sensor misreads, you step in—diagnose, repair, and restore flow. We’re hiring a mid-level Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic to champion uptime, safety, and continuous improvement across our artisan bakery.

Your Mission

Safeguard equipment availability by combining sharp electrical troubleshooting with hands-on mechanical skills—communicating clearly in both English and Spanish to align with production.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Proactive PM: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on bakery and production assets to prevent failures.
• Rapid Recovery: Respond to breakdowns; isolate issues in motors, relays, sensors, control panels, and related circuits.
• Systems Thinker: Address mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems end-to-end.
• Automation Support: Assist with PLC-related diagnostics (Siemens exposure is a strong plus).
• Documentation & Planning: Read manuals and work orders; log tasks and parts accurately.
• Safety First: Keep work areas orderly and OSHA-compliant.
• Team Partner: Work side-by-side with production to limit downtime and coordinate repairs.
• Better Every Day: Help with parts inventory, records, and small improvement projects.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance/mechanical experience.
• Expert electrical troubleshooting skills (required).
• Mechanical proficiency with motors, conveyors, belts, and drive systems.
• Solid basics in pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus (Siemens helpful).
• Independent, fast responder with strong ownership.
• Comfort with email, work orders, and maintenance tracking tools.
• Food production or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Tools, Tech, and Terrain

• Packaging machinery and industrial electrical systems
• Refrigeration/cooling equipment
• Roll forming machines; rotational molding machines; shapers
• Electrical schematic reading and heavy-equipment diagnostics
• PLC environments (Siemens)
