**Iron Hill Fabrication & Fabrication** is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team.

**Pay:** Starting at $26.00/hour, with higher pay based on experience and ability

**Schedule:** Part-time to full-time with flexible hours

**Location:** Syracuse, NY area

**Job Overview**

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Welder/Fabricator to assist with a variety of custom metal fabrication projects. Our work includes residential and commercial railings, stairs, structural components, gates, and other custom steel and aluminum fabrication.

This is a hands-on position involving both shop fabrication and occasional local field installation. The ideal candidate has previous welding and fabrication experience, works accurately, and is comfortable working independently once given direction.

Hours can be flexible, making this position suitable for someone looking for either part-time or full-time work.

**Duties**

• MIG and TIG welding
• Fabricate steel and aluminum components
• Measure, cut, fit, drill, grind, and prepare materials
• Layout and assemble fabricated components
• Fabricate railings, stairs, gates, structural components, and miscellaneous metalwork
• Read and work from drawings, sketches, and measurements
• Operate common fabrication equipment and power tools
• Assist with local field installation as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Produce accurate, clean, and high-quality finished work

**Requirements**

• **Previous welding experience required**
• 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred
• MIG welding experience required; TIG experience is a plus
• Strong measuring, layout, and basic fabrication skills
• Ability to safely operate grinders, saws, drills, and other fabrication equipment
• Ability to read basic drawings and understand dimensions
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to safely lift and handle steel and fabricated components

**Starting pay is $26/hour with the opportunity for higher pay based on experience, skill level, and ability to work independently.**
