Pay: $65,000-$75,000/yr

Schutz Container Systems is a global packaging/manufacturing company located in North Branch NJ, that is currently in need of an experienced Quality/Safety Manager for our Steel plant.

Job Duties:

*This position is responsible for the quality and safety programs at the plant.*

• *Conducting informal on-the-job training as well as classroom trainings with employees*
• *Maintain the training matrix*
• *ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood and carried out*
• *participating in and preparing for internal and external audits*
• *preparing reports, records, and other required documents and paperwork*
• *investigating and responding to customer complaints and accidents.*
• *other duties as assigned*
• *Must have at least 2 years of related QA/QC, safety, and experience in a high-producing/high-quality manufacturing environment. Plastics manufacturing experience a plus.*
• *Knowledge of OSHA and manufacturing safety procedures.*
• *Must have excellent leadership and communication skills (Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups.)*
• *Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.*
