Westlake Tool & Die, a top manufacturer in the metal stamping industry, offers a comprehensive, full-service approach to metal stamping. With our team of experts, we provide personalized solutions using our extensive in-house capabilities of stamping, prototyping, CNC machining, robotic welding, and assembly services to deliver fast, impactful results to our customers in industries such as food processing, HVAC, plumbing, and the oil & gas industry.

We are currently seeking a **Maintenance Technician** for industrial electrical and general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical press machines, components, and equipment in support of company objectives for safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

**Responsibilities:**

• Support daily general maintenance and repair needs according to work assignments and project timelines
• Troubleshoot and complete maintenance repairs for industrial electrical issues, primarily on mechanical power presses, forklifts, and robotic welding machines
• Assist with diagnosing technical issues or advanced problems with tools or equipment
• Assist with the completion of scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections for proper function and safety of machinery and equipment
• Inspect and repair faulty equipment and machinery
• Identify and recommend machinery or building repairs and/or improvements
• Will be required to operate basic shop equipment (forklift, scissor lift, overhead crane, etc.)
• Work in conjunction with other departments to accomplish maintenance goals
• Maintain recordkeeping of maintenance logs, checklists, and other documentation
• Comply with company policies and safe work practices

**Skills:**

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Ability to work with high and low voltage systems
• Familiarity with electrical measuring equipment

**Experience Required:**

• Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• Industrial electrical knowledge, troubleshooting, and repair experience
• Experience with mechanical punch presses is required

**Education:**

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Industry or maintenance-related certifications, helpful
